  • What is e-KYC in PAN application?
    Aadhaar based e-KYC: In aadhaar based e-KYC option, Aadhaar details would be considered as PAN application details (Name, Date of birth, Gender, Residential Address, E-mail ID, Mobile Number & Photograph) and Aadhaar as supporting document and would be forwarded to Income Tax Department for allotment of PAN.
  • Can e PAN be used in bank?
    Electronically issued and Digitally ePAN is now a valid mode of issue of Permanent Account Number (PAN) post amendments in clause(c) in the Explanation occurring after sub-section (8) of Section 139A of Income Tax Act, 1961 and sub-rule (6) of Rule 114 of the Income Tax Rules, 1962.
  • Is printout of e-PAN valid?
    One can apply for a PAN card through PAN website or UTIITSL portal for PAN. PAN card hardcopy is delivered on the address mentioned in the Form 49A within 45 days of application. One can, however download the ePAN card inline and use it as a valid document every where.
  • Who is eligible for KYC?
    To be eligible for Paytm KYC verification, you must be an Indian resident and at least 18 years old. Paytm may also require you to provide certain document, such as a goverment-issued photo ID and proof of address, to complete the KYC process.
  • Is ePAN valid without signature?
    e-PAN is a digitally signed PAN card issued in electronic format by the IT Department. The applicant needs to have a valid Aadhaar number or digital signature to get an ePAN.
